Tumbling

Tumbling involves performing a series of somersaults, twists and acrobatic skills along a 25 m tumble track.

Competitions involve performing a straight run (somersaults), twisting run (twisting somersaults) and a final run (somersaults and twists). Tumbling is a great way of developing power, strength (particularly of the lower body) and spatial awareness. Part of the world games it also has an annual world championships held in conjunction with the trampoline world championships and is practised by both men and women.
