DISPLAY GYMNASTICS

Times and Availability

Display Gymnastics comes under the Gymnastics for All programme and provides an opportunity for gymnasts perform at events nationally and internationally. The display sessions are purely based on floor work including acrobatics, tumbling and dance, which will form a routine that will be performed at the chosen events.

International Events
World Gymnaestrada 2015 – Team GB / EuroGym 2015 – Team GB / World Gym for Life Challenge 2017 – Team GB

If your child is interested in joining the display team, they must be in Key Stage 2 or above at school and a current member of Leeds Gymnastics Club. The groups that are eligible to join our display team are;
Youth (2 hour)
WA Club
WA Advance Youth
WA Proficiency
SA Proficiency
SA Development (9.5 hour)
General Gymnastics KS2 (1.5 hour)
My Gym

Training Times

Tuesday 7-8:30pm
Sunday 6-8pm

Gymnasts must be fully committed to the training times, as this is a team performance low attendance is detrimental to the standard. The expectation is that gymnasts will perform at national events when available. Any international events will be discussed approximately a year in advance, please be aware that all trips are self-funded.
